SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – Today, San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP) and Visit SLO CAL welcomed daily nonstop service from San Diego International Airport (SAN) Alaska Airlines. The launch marks the fifth new service at the airport in three years and brings the full range of SBP services to eight destinations.
The San Diego-based airport is the second time the airport has partnered with Alaska Airlines to launch a new air service. In 2017, Alaska introduced its first nonstop flight from San Luis Obispo to Seattle. Beginning June 18, 2020, the airline will begin daily flights from San Luis Obispo to Portland, Oregon.
