During the annual 45-day training period, you receive the same active-duty pay and benefits as a lieutenant in the Army and Air Force or a lieutenant in the Navy.
The main difference between you and your fellows is that you must attend officer training for your special service and must attend one year of training for each fellowship year you receive.
