“I am so grateful to be a part of such a loving community and neighborhood. We arrived here 3 years ago, my sisters-in-law followed us after that, and my daughter and her husband look forward to a future here in some point. The amenities are top notch! The staff is so helpful and amazing.” .
“This community is amazing! The entire environment is kept in a clean condition. The managers… are in constant communication with all of us (residents). They are perfect in their selflessness. They wear us out with their constant management of huge businesses. They need a giant raise. We love them because they destroy us. Their hospitality is beyond words! “

We are residents of Santa Barbara, California and we love our city and our community. Santa Barbara is world-renowned for its climate, scenery, beaches, people, activities, and of course, the Santa Barbara County wine region. Sit back, relax and enjoy the local sunshine and fun. We purchased the 1928 Cottage in 2009 and renovated it into a warm, comfortable and inviting cottage that our new guests love and guests return to year after year. Bunny is a local realtor and top 1% at Berkshire Hathaway and also an interior designer. You may have seen Bunny on various HGTV decorating shows, on the Discovery Channel, or on her own show, “Your Home Studio” on TNN. Her husband, David, is a general contractor, avid hunter, and restorer of a 1966 Austin Healey. We invite you all to come, have fun, relax, and experience Santa Barbara. We know you’ll be back again! Cheers, Bunny and David
The location is excellent! Two blocks from the beach, harbor and breakwater. The property was a tiny little townhouse from 1928, and we couldn’t resist buying it and turning it into a beautiful home away from home.

The cottage is very comfortable and beautifully designed. Warm bamboo floors, soothing paint colors inspired by pearly aqua green and the ocean blue of an abalone shell interior. The living room has a fireplace with gas inputs and a flat screen TV with DISH Network. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed and all modern conveniences. The cottage has a large master bedroom with French doors to the backyard deck and a full bathroom with double sinks and a bathtub. The second bathroom has a shower. Air conditioning newly installed in 2018!
