We moved here expecting a “newly renovated apartment” but the renovation was not worth it. Everything in the apartment seems to fall all the time. I can’t even open my window because people are passing by all the time and the neighbors are always noisy. Lots of screaming kids at 7am on weekends. The rain is continuous and without warning. The parking situation is terrible. we didn’t say that the utilities are extra while signing the lease and they are now being charged more than the expected rent.
Overall the managers and the maintenance itself are nice but the interior kind of looks new and I was told that all of mine has been renovated but it hasn’t been renovated before and my equipment was dirty and used, rugs- dirty floors, and lots of little things wrong with things. . The neighbors in my building and the one next to mine are very loud and screaming so it’s a little annoying. There was a lot of damage to the paint in my apartment. I also have recurring issues with pests (Roaches). They were quick with handling as I called and emailed to make sure it was done, but the monkeys kept coming (not too much. Very little. But I have an ocd lifestyle so nothing I attract housekeeper bugs, I keep everything sealed / cut / kept or in the fridge; which is cleaned). I feel that the building itself or my neighbors have issues and are spreading them. I can’t say what. Again the people in charge and doing the repairs are great, but I’m sure there are limits to what they can allow and do to our residents. For the price, it’s a great place to stay but you have to be specific about how you live to avoid issues.
San Diego Affordable Housing Community
The people on the property are very noisy and you will have screaming children in the halls until 2am! The water was always off and the laundry room was very disgusting and poorly maintained.
I have to say the remodels are nice but for the price you pay you have to be aware of a few things I noticed. They often turn off the water. They hardly give you 24 hour notice. Their plumbing is weird because they have to turn off all the water to fix the problem leaving us all without water which sometimes takes more than 3 hours. Water is a problem there. They don’t tell you like they should. My second issue is that they give you a parking spot but the parking lot is small, and the gate is always open for homeless people to enter. My car broke down and they stole all the important papers, in my glove. share. They have this agreement with a towing company that comes to tow you or whoever it is. Instead of having a towing company like they are, they need to focus on getting 24 hour security because my husband saw a homeless man climbing near the stairs. It’s not as quiet as I thought. I often heard children, and arguments, except that it was okay to stay there. One note, when we moved into our apartment was unfinished. Some of the appliances in the apartment fell. Make sure your apartment is finished and ready because they are unfinished, with new renovations.
