The Port of San Diego is just 3 miles from the International Airport. It’s too far to walk, but it’s easy to get to the port. If the traffic is not too bad, it takes less than 10 minutes!
If you’re arriving at the San Diego airport and just want to get to the port, we think carpooling is a great idea.
Uber will only cost you $10-$12. Lyft will be $8 less. The most expensive option is a taxi from the airport to the port for $20.
There is public transport from the airport to the port. It costs $2.25 per person per page.
The Slow Route To Cabo
The bus you need is bus 992, which goes from the airport via the port to the city center. Sure, it’s the most cost-effective way, but if there are 3 or more guests in the party, then sharing the ride isn’t much.

Wyndham San Diego Bayside is the most popular hotel on Disney cruises. You can’t go very close to the port. It is located directly opposite the B street pier.
How To Cruise From Long Beach To Ensenada
Plus, there’s no better feeling than watching the Disney Wonder sail into port on the morning of departure. If you get one of the bay view rooms, you can see the ships from your hotel room window.
The Wyndham San Diego is an older hotel. However, it was recently updated. The rooms are a good size with king or double rooms.
One of its disadvantages is that it does not have its own restaurant. However. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance, and of course they treat us to a huge Disney buffet lunch as soon as we board the ship!
Park N Go packages are very popular. Nightly rates start at $284. This includes parking for 7 days during the tour. Please note that regular parking is $32 per night unless you choose the Cruise Parking Package.
