A bright yellow Spirit Airlines plane shines over the southern coast of Puerto Rico. The carrier today launched services from Mercedita International Airport (PSE) in Ponce, adding the island’s second largest city to its growing route map. The new service gives Ponce travelers daily flights to Orlando (MCO) and marks Spirit’s third destination in Puerto Rico, San Juan (SJU) and Aguadilla (BQN).

Orlando, one of Spirit Airlines’ largest airport operations, with nearly 80 daily flights, now offers a choice of ports between PSE and 28 cities. The airline is the second largest airline in terms of MCO seats.
