This scholarship is offered for summer and semester programs and is intended for students with non-maintained study abroad credentials. Let’s say you have $5,000 in financial aid and the study abroad program you’re interested in is $16,000. Maybe your college has an automatic $2,500 grant for students with a high GPA like you. Now your program has been reduced to $8,500 (plus shipping).
Start working on ways to help fund the remaining $8,500 and get ready to handle grant applications. Do a fundraiser and get that part-time or summer job to help you save.
