The Dream Us Scholarship Login – Provides college scholarships to highly motivated DREAMers who want to get a college education but can’t afford it. Our scholarships help cover your tuition and fees for an undergraduate or graduate degree at one of our Partner Colleges. Note: You must be accepted and eligible for in-state tuition (if applicable) at one of our Partner Colleges to receive the Scholarship.
This scholarship is available to high school seniors or high school graduates with financial need who are first-time undergraduate or graduate students who are ready to earn a career at one of our Partner Colleges. Students currently enrolled in college are not eligible. Scholars are selected from a pool of applicants across the country.

Community College Graduate Scholarships are available to community college students with financial need who have earned their associate’s degree and are seeking to complete a bachelor’s degree at one of our four-year Partner Colleges. Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program are not eligible. Scholars are selected from a pool of applicants across the country.
The Dream.us National Scholarship 2019 2020
Has partnered with three selective private colleges – Davidson, Franklin & Marshall, and Gettysburg – to support a limited number of highly talented Dreamers in the pursuit of an outstanding liberal arts education, regardless of family ability to pay. Each of the following will nominate a Dreamer from the college applicant pool for Scholarship consideration. If you are a high academic performer and interested in attending one of these 3 selective private partner colleges, we encourage you to apply to the college by the January 2016 application deadline. After submitting your application to the college, please email the contact below and tell them that you are a student DACA applied for college admission and would like to be considered for nomination for the Scholarship Program. The College will inform you if it has nominated you to apply for a Scholarship. If you receive a Scholarship but are not admitted to college or choose not to attend, you will be able to use the Scholarship at one of our other Partner Colleges (assuming you are eligible for in-state tuition and accepted to college).
Our scholars are selected by DREAMers and people from organizations that support DREAMers based on academic achievement and motivation to succeed. Our scholars are committed to their own academic achievement and help build a National Community of DREAMer Scholars who will provide support and peer support to each other and to future DREAMer Scholars. Don’t forget to share this information with your friends and family! New and current students are guaranteed to apply for TheDream.US scholarships, up to $39,000 in scholarship aid.

My name is Francisco Barros. I was born in Cuenca, Ecuador and came to New York City when I was only two years old in March 1999. I am currently in my second semester at MacAulay Honors College at the City College of New York majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in Mathematics. This past December, I received TheDream.US Scholarship and have benefited greatly from it.
Growing up as an immigrant has been very difficult. My parents have worked hard so that my sister and I can devote ourselves to study full time. My father worked as a builder and continued to put food on the table even though he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Fortunately, he was able to remove the thyroid and not have cancer. My mother always stayed at home to raise me and my sister. All the sacrifices my parents have made have pushed me to do my best in everything.

When President Obama issued Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in 2012, I was excited because it meant I would be able to work in this country without any problems. However, I also learned that getting a college education is very important. I was fortunate to have an experienced college counselor who advised me to apply for the MacAulay Honors Program, which would allow me to continue my studies without worrying about the financial burden.
I am currently the Editor of the Magazine in my parish, Saints Peter and Paul, also being Responsible for the Neocatechumenal Community in the parish. I also like volunteering, which is why I joined CityServ, a volunteer organization on campus. In my spare time I also returned to my former elementary school and helped the staff with clerical work. Balancing academic and extracurricular activities has been challenging but I enjoy doing it.
Thanks to TheDream.US program I was able to cover many of the costs and expenses associated with college. I feel grateful to be a part of a program that will support me emotionally and financially during my four years as an undergraduate. I’m sure there are many more challenges to come but I’m happy to have a community that helps me through hard times. I highly recommend all DREAMers to apply for TheDream.US scholarship. It’s a great opportunity.

In 2001, my mother, brother, and I went to Bronx, New York. We arrived safe, excited, nervous and overdressed. We remember that it was a summer day in New York. The air felt thick, hot and sticky, nothing compared to summer at home. Our visit to our new home in the Bronx surprised us. The buildings, the people, the smells and the streets are very different from Bolivia. We are excited to live the “American” lifestyle and be a part of this country.
As I grew up, I encountered many obstacles that made me believe that I had no place, no purpose or talent. At school, my teacher always forgets my name and my classmates don’t want to be friends with me. I remember trying really hard to stand up and be friendly, but rejection followed me like a shadow. At home, I didn’t get the support or recognition I wanted as a child. My parents work hard to support my brother and me, but they are almost never at home. For most of my childhood through adolescence, I was alone in terms of emotional support. It’s hard to grow up knowing that your benefits will be ignored, your voice will be heard and your existence will be forgotten.
After graduating from high school, I felt like my life would go down the drain. I have no hope for my future let alone a reason to try to move forward. I blamed my parents for my legal problems and buried myself in a dark hole of sadness and despair. Little by little, I got out of that hole and started noticing my passion for food. I decided that my goal is to help people understand that food is not our enemy but a friend to our health. After my epiphany, I received my DACA results. I said to myself “This is a sign, I know it” so I took it. I saved all my paychecks and enrolled in York College.
During the first semester I received a call about scholarships for DACA eligible students. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for me, so I applied. In December 2014, I received an email saying, “You have been selected to receive TheDream.US Scholarship.” I! The girls were all walking away.
