God teaches children to honor their parents. When did your parents give up on you? Well, never. We must respect our parents throughout our lives, including taking care of them when they need it.

Helping your family financially includes supporting your children when they are young. It also includes training them according to God’s commandments. We train our children to work hard, be kind to others and give.

Teaching children biblical principles about money is a great way to help them become independent adults.

Of course, their financial decisions are theirs to make, but if you can let them know your lessons, hopefully their mistakes will have less and less impact on their financial future.
